Tulips, daffodills, and other bulbs have some special needs. First, you should allow it 4 to 6 weeks of sunlight to the leaves so that it can get enough nutrients to power the bulb for the next blooming season. Then cut back all greeery, let it dry out and place either just the bulbs, or the whole pot in a brown grocery sack and place it in the back of your refrigerator for either another 6 weeks, or until the fall. Now you can either replant the bulbs in your yard, or bring back out the pot, water and place in diffused to bright sunlight. I've done this a few times, but it is honestly hard in my area to get more than 2 year's blooms out of tulips. If you are in a colder climate you'll have more luck than I.
Good luck with it all!!!

Plant them outside. Tulips usually are planted 4-5 inches deep. Since these were potted and most likely forced, they will be much shallower in the pot. That's OK, just plant them at that 4-5 inch depth anyway.
They might not bloom next spring, forced bulbs sometimes take a couple of years to come back, but they will eventually, if the squirrels or voles don't get them first.

They are alive and going dormant. Clip off the flowers and stem but allow the leaves to last as long as they can. The leaves are drawing the sun that is necessary to enrich the bulbs underneath. When the leaves have completely died back, your plant is alive in the form of bulbs. Fall is the best planting time for tulips but you can plant the bulbs now. Do not expect any further flowers and remember where you placed the bulbs so you dont forget to water form time to time. If you have a cool place to store the bulbs, it would still be best to plant in the fall.

Plant it outside if you have a garden and wait until next spring when it will bloom again.

I would replant your bulbs outside in the yard till next year. You can transplant them back into a flower pot when there ready to bloom again next year. http://www.newprocontainer.com

I doubt it'll bloom again. You could try planting it outside and see if it comes up again next Spring. Not sure tho. Sorry I wasn't of more help.
