Best this past year is the Colts.
Best historically is going to be one of the teams that has been around since the '20s, like the Bears or Packers.
I think the best "right now" in terms of being a model franchise is the Patriots since Kraft took over.
Worst I'd have to say the Lions for being bad now, in the NFC and being historically bad since Bobby Layne was their QB in like 1957.

I think the best team in the NFL is the New England Patriots. Last year when they had that dissapointing AFC Championship game to the colts, They still managed to make it that far. They really didnt have any weapons besides Tom Brady and Corey Dillon, They had WR catching passes in the play-offs most people had never herd of. Freddie Coleman. Jabar Gaffney.Zakili Smith. And they have one 3 superbowls in wat 5 years? they are a good Team. They really put the word meaning in team because they dont have a lot of superstars, And they all work togethor.
Worst team in the NFL is the Oakland Raiders. They were horrible last year, a laughing stock if you will, They Need to pick Russel in the 2007 NFL Draft to help them out. Recievers Like Joe Porter and Randy Moss, didnt get the ball because Aaron brooks who was injured most of the season. Wasnt there to throw the ball to them. Then Walter had to come in and try. He was Horrible. So thats what i have to say

Best Team: Probably the Chargers. The Colts have bad D.
Worst Team: Detroit Lions. No offense+no defense=suck.

I would have to say the best team right now is the Colts. Why? Peyton Manning, period. As far as the worse team, I would have to go with the Lions. Their QB situation is not looking good at all, and there defence is pittiful. With that said, they have to be the worst team. Other honorable mentions for the best team include:
Patriots(great coaching, having Tom Brady also doesn't hurt), the Saints(look for Reggie Bush to have a killer season, Drew Brees is also great), the Chargers, and last the Ravens.

The best team is the Colts obviously, but with the worst, according to last year, wouls have to be between the Buccaneers or the Browns, most people would say the Raiders, but they had one of the best defenses in the league, but the worst offense.

San Diego chargers very good offense,good defense although they lost in the divisional playoff to New England

The New Orleans Saints is the best, because of everything they endured from Katrina,etc and still rebuilt a whole new team, and made it to the NFC championship game(best they ever finished, and more to come this year) .... The Raiders is the worst, simply because of thier record!!!!

Cleveland is the worst team because they seem to never get better just worst every year, the best team in my mind is the BEARS just because im a huge bears fan.
