How do illegal aliens have Constitutional Rights?

I am just curious as how an illegal alien has the same Constitutional Rights that I have as an American. If they are here illegally then they are not Americans. If we afford them these rights then why are they not in jail for breaking the law in the first place by coming here illegally. Also the goverment in all of their wisdom is deciding on a vote to give these illegal aliens social security benifits. First how are they intitled to these benifits when they have not contributed to social security. Second, where is the goverment planning on taking this money from? Our already stressed Social Security? What is going to happen if this occurs. You and your children will not have benifits or the amount of benifits you should have had because now a percentage of your money is going to someone who is here illegally.

Aliens in the U.S. have constitutional rights because the language of the constitution does not give rights only to citizens. If a person is in the United States illegally, he can be deported, but that doesn't mean he loses these rights while he is here.

There are politicians who are trying to blame social security's problems on illegal aliens, in order to distract the public while the politicians spend our money and give tax cuts to the rich. Don't believe them. Nobody is planning to give social security to illegal aliens who contribute nothing to the system.
