FREE HP cd writer plus 9100 series; I need to reinstall the driver, but cannot find a site where I download the driver for free. All the sites I've been to works in circles. PLEASE, Please help me!!!!

Thank you very much for your reply zurcalednauj, but see, they don't have the software for Windows XP. I'm not good with computers so if any one can help me step by step I will appreciate it VERY much!

but let me give u another information.. if ur looking out for software for scanning .. HP director.. for that u require the hp officejet 9100 series .. starter disc 1.
u can purchase from hp... shul be around 15-20 dollors.. or can just borrow from frnds.. u just need the disc for installation of entire software...then u can return back..

Usually there is no driver needed when it comes to XP. Have you tried just plugging it in and see if it will work?
