Barbara Eden was a wonderful actress and the show was written by a very famous novelist, Sidney Sheldon. Sidney wrote some award winning novels while writing the series as his work had some initial problems with acceptance. If you want to see more wonderful writing like that, go to your local library and look up Sidney Sheldon. I loved the show and the books.

Thank you for taking me way back into my childhood :)
I grew up in Germany, and the show "I dream of Jeannie" was aired there a lot later than it came out in the US.
Anyway, I used to go around blinking my eyes and crossing my arms just to see if I could make magic happen when I was a little girl :)
My other favorite was "Mr. Ed" the show about the talking horse.
Cheers,
Roselle

That TV show wasn't a soap opera, it was a situational comedy.
Barbera Eden was smoking hot, even if the sensors wouldn't let her show her belly button.
What a rack!

i don't think "I Dream of Jeannie" is considered a soap opera, but i used to like watching "Bold and the Beautiful". however, i liked watching "I Dream of Jeannie", "I Love Lucy", "Bewitched" and "The Munsters" more!!
