What should you do if you are constricted by a huge snake like a python or an anaconda?

The best thing to do is keep grain alcohol or even Isopropyl alcohol close when you are handling a snake large enough and strong enough to constrict a human . Instead of trying to over power the snake , which could cause the constriction to be even tighter pour some of the alcohol on you hand or a towel and place it over the snakes face . They will recoil at the smell and usually they will let go . An old friend that had large pythons told me this trick works well in an emergency . How ever it requires some for thought from the person that is handling the snakes .

The general idea is to crushed to death and then get eaten. But you will be comforted that the snake will not be able to move very fast while you are being digested, so chances are, they will be found, and your remains will be given a proper burial.
In the years to come, your grandchildren will be able to tell their friends that grandpa was eaten by a giant snake.

Seriously, I've seen a medium sized python (about 3.5 metres) get a grip on a snake handler, it took 2 other handlers to save him. They were about to kill the snake when they finally got it to let go. Without a weapon of some sort, you would have no hope.

It would depend on the size of the snake. If it's a 15 footer or more, start praying cause you're goina meet your maker. If it is smaller and you have a powerful grip, grab the head just behind the jaws and dig in as you try to unwind the thing. If it's a full body constriction, cutting the head off is about your only hope, and then you have to hope it relaxes. Smaller than that, you should be able to unwind him with brute force.
