It did raise some interesting questions which could have been answered but weren't.
As in the first question 'what is respect?', the answer was everyone must be afraid of me.
(reality) This is fear NOT respect.
'Why do you resort to violence' - 'To earn money, if the government gave me money I wouldn't need to'
(reality) How much money do you want, not to commit crime. Would that stop the crime or would you just what more money.
'There is no money in the area'
(reality) There is more money being pumped into these areas than anywhere else in the country.
'Where are the guns coming from' - 'From the government, where else, you cannot import guns'
(reality) Cocaine and Heroin are not grown in this country, but huge amounts come through custom or are smuggled.
interestingly when Ross was speaking the officer from Trident he asked the same question, which was not answered. The chain cannot be that difficult to follow.
The overall impression of the program left me thinking that this and the shortly following generation should be labelled the 'Grand Theft Auto Generation'.
Wanting everything NOW and for NOTHING. And if they don't get it they are within there rights to take it from others. Basic GREED.

Everyone lives in Everywhere the eyes diverted from the social raper
A gun bought on a corner for a wink and a small bunch of paper
Suddenly the buyer is somebody; the swagger strides the history train
To a place in any town, the clack of pain to come again
It’s all about the paper chase, so the street tells us all
As the metal twisted the heart of Anytown, in a schoolroom hall
Anytown was Everywhere, nothing special or bizarre
But think of your town, your friends, with the self-same scar
Thirty-three dead for Anyday, a place far far away
Another expires in Nowhere, in the blink of an eye in a day
So it’s a game it seems, where the rules they never scan
Hundreds of years stolen from you and me, never to know those people’s plan
Who has the right to choose what will be the outcome of a life ?
The guy who was to invent the next big thing, to a pointless death with a knife ?
Yet rather than see the good in all and work for a place for all
A gunman seeks revenge in a schoolroom hall
Don’t remove yourself from the ethical society
Just to keep with a street-wise stereo-typed variety
In time you and they will be old and past your best
With a wife a kids with luck on your side if blessed
An obvious duty to an invisible future may be later
To hurt your future now, you are your own traiter
There really is no pride in menace, or twisted steel pumping from a moving car
Take the guns off the streets of Everywhere and work to be who you are
