Definitly not!!! At 37 and billions in the bank, I just think he wanted to move on. I have seen him about three weeks ago in Bloubergstrand Cape Town. He seemed very relaxed and what suprised me the most was that he was smoking.....
We will miss you Schummi

Sort of. Ideally Ferrari would have used Schumacher and Raikkonen as their driver line up but Schumacher's absolute No. 1 status within the team would have been threatened (Massa was already pushing him) and he would never have stood for that. Plus after losing two titles in a row, the reality was that championships would be harder to come by in the future, Particularly if he was going to be up against Raikkonen, Alonso, Massa and Hamilton. I think that the reality hit him that, since the first time since Senna's death, he finally had some real competition, in decent cars, so the easy ride that he had enjoyed in the past was over.
It is interesting to witness all of the anti-Kimi feelings from some Schumacher fans when it was Schumacher who spotted Kimi when he (Kimi) was in carts and recommended him to the right people to secure his future in F1. Maybe Schumacher believed he had found a successor..?

Force a racer like Shumy to retire? you don't know how much Montezemolo and Todt tried to convince him to stay...
After all those years in Ferrari and all those victories he became family to all italians and Ferrari fans..
If it wasn't for the above mentioned i'm shure he would have retired even earlier.
He just felt like it was time, and he actually is kind of old to stay at top for a sport like F1...

If issues shop going like they're, that could desire to be authentic. Gordon might desire to be bored to death in looking like a chump next to the 40 8 group. The "rigidity for 5" is on existence help and going into cardiac arrest.

i don`t think so, they could have " parked" Felipe if MS and Kimi were racing together...
a lot of drivers raced beyond MS 37 years at retirement, but none of them were as accomplished as MS was when he was 37... i would have wanted for him to continue racing as i am a big fan, but he really did not have anything to prove anymore... and i suspect the strongest pressure to retire had to come from his wife...

no no no, i dnt think so, if they wants kimi they had option of removing massa, i think the decision was taken by schumi hinself. he was such a great racer no one could force hin to retire, specially ferraris, he has done much more things for them.

He had nothing else to race for. He already had the records, wins, championships, and money. Maybe he just wanted to go out while he was still competative, healthy and spend time with his family.

i think so, i think it was a case of the stars aligning for ferraris future and that future was more important to ferrari than his last 2 or 3 years i dont think it was todt or brawn that pushed him out, i think it was more of montazelmo
