Are their any diseases or conditions that short and irregular periods are a sign of?

I'm 21 and I've had my period since I was 13. Also, I've been trying to conceive for 14 months now...

if you are super skinny or super large then this would happen to you. if your not and had been having a regular period then you should see your doctor especially if you're trying to concieve. if you are taking any supplements or such to help then these could be whats causing it. otherwise i do know a girl who has always had a 3 day period and there is nothing wrong with her.

If you have been trying to concieve with no luck for 14 months it could be PCOS. I am not trying to diagnois you or anything since Im not your doctor but I know people who have the same symptoms and problems TTC, relating to PCOD.

Maybe you should check in with your doctor.

Do u know if you're anemic? I am a thalesemia minor, so im anemic and therefore i dont have heavy flows and it doesnt last long either. I take folic acid with vitamin b12 alternate days.

It's normal, especially if you've just started getting your period.
