The problem is either the monitor or the computer.

Firstly, check the cables, and make sure they are plugged in and the monitor is on.

Turn off the computer and restart. Watch the Hard drive light and listen to the hard drive. If you hear nothing, then the computer is possibly not starting up.

Otherwise it is either the video card (test by plugging your monitor into another computer) or the monitor has a problem (same test).

check the monitor cables are working correctly, try another moitor on that computer to make sure, if the monitor works then it is the computer and this can either be the motherboard is dead which will mean you will need a new computer, the processors dead which will mean you will need a new processor, or the video card is broke, to check the video card just simply take the case off and unscrew and lift out the video card and if the computer gives 1 long bleep and 2 short bleeps its the video card that's broke. if its not the video card try to take all components except for the motherboard and processor out and turn it on if theres still no bleeps its definitely the motherboard or processor that's gone and it may be easier to get a new computer, if it does bleep the error is somewhere in the components you took out just simply add them 1 by 1 and test the computer each time you add a component back in and you will then eliminate the components leaving you with the faulty 1
