i have bad taste in fashion...help!! (fashionable girls only)?

i can never put together a cool outfit with accessories and all. there's this one girl at my school who has the best taste in fashion, but she's stuck up so not asking her.

what stores should i shop at?
how should i shop?
please give me any tips.
the girl at my school likes stuff like betsey johnson, coach, juicy couture, and i'm not sure where else she shops..

but help??

One of the best things you can do is look at complete outfits in magazines and try to replicate them with similar combinations. When you see an outfit you like, what cuts are the bottoms? The tops? What jewelry is included? What bag? Sunglasses? Look at these things all together and then get the pieces to build the outfit yourself.

Different styles work for different body types, so don't wear something that will make your body look bad just because it's trendy. Well, if you wear trousers all the time, i sugest you change into skirts.

It will be huge difference and people will notice.
If its black skirt any top clour will suite. Have a matching clour necklace. Long bead necklace are in fashion. Wear chunky bangles.

With white skirts, wear light clour top such as light yellow, light blue or red. And do same with assessories.
Have a matching lady handbag.

With skirts any type of sandals go together.

Straighten your hair. and add little bit of makeup.

With jeans/trousers, wear a fashion belt as asseories around your hips.
or you can have a matching clour belt with your top.
with jeans, backless tops look nice.
and wear heels, (depending how comfortable you are with heels)
if your not that comfy in heels like me, wear medium heels which is 2-3inch high.

Then buy things to match your look. Probably what you are doing is throwing too many things together that you like, but the result is a horrible mish mash.
