This, I believe, is in Australia, where cane toads are an introduced species that was brought in with the sugar cane crops to control cane beetle population. The problem is, cane toads get to sizes that beetles aren't an attractive prey item anymore, and they start eating ANYTHING they can fit their mouths around, which is a big problem in ecosystems where a) nothing recognizes them as a predator, and b)nothing can eat them because of their poison glands. I did see something about crows finally realizing all they have to do is flip them over onto their back and not eat the whole thing.

Oh, yeah, ramble, ramble, ramble. I think it's a wonderful thing, but people over there should be doing what they can to get rid of the accursed things even without the monetary reward, really.

It depends what are they doing with the toads, and what species are they catching? if they are doing this in florida whith cane toads then it is a great idea, cane toads are invasives in florida and are very destructive to native wildlife.

Well that depends on why they want the toads and if the toads can be hazardous to u. If they want them because there endangered or something I'd say yes but if they want them for experimentation I wouldn't do it.
