I have a non-stick griddle that has Pam buildup on it and nothing has worked to get it off without scratching the pan. I would really like to know if I can use Easy-off cleaner on it without damaging the teflon and making it peel. Any advice will be appreciated.

You can..... but sometimes it too will take off the Teflon. Have you tried heating the griddle with a bit of soapy water (using a grease cutting detergent) soaked paper towels on it? Keep them very wet with soapy water as the griddle gets up to max temp, then turn griddle off and while still hot wipe with the towels... being careful not to burn yourself. It works well on mine, though it isn't super built up with spray.

Throw the teflon out. I examine the be conscious approximately teflon being poisonous to people at 500 deg. it truly is going to kill puppy birds at 4 hundred deg.. So, while you're merely frying an egg and take the pan off the burner actual away you may get away with it. in case you forget the egg (answer the telephone/door etc), and the pan gets too warm, say goodby to the birds and start up getting anxious approximately your self.

I would think that you wouldn't want to do that. You will be putting food on the griddle and I wouldn't want to be eating something that had contact with all the acid on it.

EX Off is LYE not and acid!
Neutralize any LYE residue with an acid...vinegar, lemon juice, etc.
It would rinse off anyway. use lots of water.
