Just by posting your question on here, you are asking for a helping hand, and you want someone to tell you not to think those thoughts, so you can indeed stop thinking that way. Stop feeling suicidal by thinking of all the people who will hurt and be upset by such an act. They love you and want to be with you, they don't want to lose you. They would feel like you did something very selfish and hurtful to them. You don't want to go out like that, do you? Of course not. No one can know who you feel or why you're hurting if you don't tell anyone. Look for a counsellor at school, they are trained to help with feelings of suicide. Please, take the next step and ask for help from people that can help you. There's only so much support you can get from Yahoo Answers. Take care of you.

Yes...like Riarossi said get to the doctor ASAP! I believe you might find numbers in the front section of your phone book that can help in the meantime. It's true often it's a chemical imbalance... and a prescription from your doctor will make a world of difference! Also you should know that most people have had feelings of giving up at some point in their lives... I did too. Luckily I never acted on my feelings and before I knew it I was so happy! Things do have a way of working out. Get a bible and start reading it ( proverbs might help ) I'm going to sleep now, but I will pray for you. There is an enormous amount of strength through prayer! I dont understand why some of you tell her to do all that religious stuff? Why is she feeling so **** to begin with if god supposed real or whatever?
Dont pick holes in what Im saying, I dont believe in god when there is so much suffering in this world, I just dont understand thats all.

Anyway, you could either; talk to someone~call up a friend, take the dog for a walk, listen to some 'happy' music, go shopping, etc etc

But please think long term and not for the here and now,think of the people you will leave behine and how much theyll die inside too~how would you feel if they did it?
I think you should go to a dr when and he can either presribe you something to make you feel better or refer you to someone else for specialist help. Just try and be strong...

In Indian system, if commit suicide, then you turn into ghost and you live a life of hundreds if not thousands of years of pain and misery. If you got pain, just imagine their pain no food, no feelings, no body, just pure pain, maybe millions of time worse than yours.

Whether you believe it or not it is part of law of Karma (same if you believe in gravity or not, it does not mean it does not exist), our soul will incarnate other bodies, animals, insects, plants, then we got serious problems. For heaven sake we are living in best time in human civilatios

Each less of animal protein, drink more pure water, eat vegetable proteins, get off any medication.

This time will past, may you have something to learn from this
time. Look how many people care about, total strangers.
The ones who in immediate circle will be hurt more.

Why do you feel so? Do you feel alone in the middle of so great problem and don't know what to do? Suicide just solve worldly problem, the soul will suffer and regret in after life. If you have God, pray and ask Him to help you overcome this somehow. He knows what's best for you and will never let you down.

Meditation saved me. It comes in many forms: writing, cycling (exercise - for me ones that dont include other people), less aggressive martial arts such as Tai Chi or yoga. Empty the mind of negative thoughts and, more difficultly, emotions. It takes some time and patience, but once you've have grasped just the basics its harder to go back.

This is my opinion and I don't want to be bashed for it, whether it is a mental disorder or what have you.

I think that people who commit suicide or contemplate committing suicide are cowards and little of faith, what ever faith you may be, they want to blame the world for their problems instead of taking their lives in their hands and changing what they don't like about it.

If you want some one to save you look in the mirror, the only person who can in staring right at you!!!!!

start blaming the right person, not you. get angry and sort the buggers out. i do not condone violence. if that fails talk to someone you trust. if that does not work try regular exercise where you break out into a sweat for 20 Min's at time 3 days a week, eat a balanced diet, avoid alcohol excess. if that fails eat expensive chocolate and drink champagne that may just hit the spot. don't top your self, its never as easy as it seems and you will mess with the peoples heads who actually love you, big time. x

oh sweety,please go and see your GP straight away. don't go through this alone. i tried to cope by myself with depression after my 4th child. it nearly did me in. your not alone in this situation. so many people suffer with depression by them selves feeling to embarrassed about what people think.
