Yes, missing a pill can cause the bleeding to occur. Also, since you have only been on the pill about 2 months it seems that your body may still be trying to adjust to being on it. I would definitely get in touch with the dr to let them know what is going on and see what they think could be the problem.

This is generally thought to be normal for someone new to birth control pills. I wonder.... did you see the film offered to you about taking the "pill" or fully read the pamphlet that came with your pack? If you didn't then you need to do so. There is so much information in those pamphlets about the varied changes that you can possibly expect when taking the "pill". I know that it's easy to think that you don't need to read all that "blah-blah" but
if you take into consideration that you are taking a medication that changes the way your body is suppose to do something you might want to know all the in's and out's of what this medication could do. You know the "side effects"..... Please protect yourself with the full information. Oh and there's an 800 number on the packet if you have problems like this..... if not call Planned Parenthood in your local community, if they don't have an answer they can get you to someone that does.

its your job in this world to take your pills at the right time. decide on bed time or when you get up and dont forget it, lord i live on pills, if i forgot id be dead soon. taking 2 in one day is likely what is causing the bleeding, but if it keeps it up after this cycle, call your doctor.
