I don't know how to speak Chinese but I have always wanted to learn. I have always thought that China is a fasinating place and I hope to go there someday. I also think that Spanish is a valuable language to learn and Japanese too. My sister took a German class in High School but I didn't like the way that language sounded.

I think besides English and Chinese the valuable languages are German , Franch and Russian language . Because all these languages are necessable all around the world. For tourism , for big groved companies who makes export & import in their countries . Over all of them we have know as a human I think all of the languages which is speaking all around the world because we all live in the same earth. We have to understand each other if we have problems or if we want to have firends from all around the world. This is the most importance why we have to learn other languages. I think so . Well your opinion ..............

It depends on where you're planning to go and what you're planning to do. French has become pretty universal throughout Europe, and Spanish is becoming a necessary language to learn if you plan on visiting the U.S. Arabic would be handy to know as well.
Chinese, Korean, or Japanese I would think would be useful if you were planning to live or work there, but outside of that I wouldn't have much use for them (but that's just me).

Japanese dayo..! Of course, because its the 2nd biggest economy in the world. Japanese think they have an advantage because foreigners find it difficult to learn they're language. While on the other hand it is rare for japanese to master english. So if we have already mastered english and japanese, we'd have the upper hand in doing business with them (Japan & The West).

c++, VB, and cobol - or what ever 3 computer languages are most popular these days (as you can probably guess I haven't studied for a long time). Because computers are the present.

Spanish because of the influx to this country.
I, personally, want to learn Cherokee because it's the native tongue of some of my ancestors.
Latin is my 3rd choice for learning the roots of other words.
