As a restaurant waiters/waitress or shopkeeper or other servicing jobs which are customer oriented, one needs to serve and treat well his/her clients, to make sure they are happy and buy something and will come back again later. The clients know this and want to be made special and very well-treated, not because they have high-opinion about themselves, but just because they feel they have the right for the treatment over what they pay as clients, no matter how small it might be.

I think everyone should have a high opinion of themselves. And just because these women may be fat they are paying and should have what they want. You think because they're fat they shouldn't expect good service? Sad, very sad. Not all people are fat because they're lazy or always eat junk food.

Don't worry. When you're fat, ugly and middle-aged you can get your hot fries the way you want too

We work hard for the money that we spend at your restaurant. Some people may not care and some people may not want to be a pain, but if you spend your money and you get a crappy product and don't complain, then we deserve what we get.

I don't have a high opinion of myself. Actually, I think I suck and if I recieved cold fries, I'd probably blame myself and just eat them.

That's easy, it is because they are not secure with them selves as people, that they tend to treat other people badly and make them selves seem better than others at the same time. Underneath all that attitude and narcissistic behavior is insecurity.

Um, have you and some of the others who answered here considered perhaps another line of work? Could it be that customer service is not really your cup of tea? Why do you think they are NOT entitled to be treated well? I'll bet your employer thinks his/her customers deserve to be treated well.....

I don't do that, but I do have a high opinion of myself. I hope everyone has a high opinion of themselves.
