when you use their shipping calculator, how do you get the weight? Do you have to take it to the post office or does a regular bath room scale work as well? I am new at this and am having trouble and have LOTS of questions, does anyone know of somewhere I can get some FREE help? Thanx!

I assume that you are selling an item. You can use a bathroom scale. Remember to round up the weight to accomodate your packaging or you could add another dollar or two as your handling fee. I don't think I have ever had an item where I had to come out of pocket for shipping and handling. You can find help to all your questions about selling and listing items through ebay help.

If you have a digital bathroom scale, then you can use that. Otherwise, you can always ask if the post office would weigh something for you. You also need to keep in mind that the item needs to be weighed with all of the packing materials that you will be using as well.

Good luck!
