If your car battery is down because you forgot the lights or the cd player on usually it takes all the charge in the alternator or the dinamo, to get your engine started just put the gear on the second speed & ask someone to give your car a push while u inside, when the car is slightly moving try starting your engine it will take some time as the alternator is charging but it will work at the end, when it starts dont stop the car and leave it running for some minutes until the alternator is charged, and dont worry there's nothing with the battery

Have the battery checked at a store or garage. If the battery checks out good, then you have a couple possible problems. Either your alternator is dead or you have a short in the electrical system. A garage should also be able to check the alternator. If battery and Alt are good, then there is definitely a short in the system that is slowly draining the charge while the vehicle is sitting. A lot of times this is caused by a bad ground.

Have you tried putting it on a battery charger to see if that works? Some auto parts do it for hardly anything and will take and put it back in your car at no xtra charge. A battery tester is the first step to make sure it is not your alternator.

I would check to see if the alternator is working. Use a voltmeter to check and see if you have 13.6V. If you do, then either the battery is going bad or you have a drain on the electric system.

Uhhh....jump it?

If that isn't the issue and your battery won't stay charged, then replace your alternator.
