I am a high school student and athlete.
I've been on the track & field team for a couple of months.
been running distance (including 1 mile, 2 mile, 800 m, and 400 m) and got tendonitis nowadays. my both knees hurt alot even when i walk.
what should i do?

My trainer has told me that it is best to stay out of runing for a while, because it is going to make your knee worse especially if you are running on dirt track. I strongly advise you to go to a professional as soon as you can and stop running for a while. But since you wouldn't have many days left in the season, i guess you have to keep running. Then massage it with a hot pack and then ice it. Icing it everyday will help your knee. Also, don't over work your legs for now and try to stay out of sprinting if you have a speed workout or something.

seriously, go to an orthopedic dr. they can give you medications and offer other forms of treatment that can be really helpful.. i transcribe for an orthopedist, and a good portion of his patient's have tendinitis and many are effectively treated!!

Go to an orthopedic Dr. They can put cortisone shots in it and you will get relief. Good luck.
