to some extent that's what we do.

I've considered it in the same way I've considered robbing a bank - unrealistically. For a minute, I could think of how easy it would be, and rationalize that it's only a body, and I'd be doing it for a good reason, blah, blah, blah. But, if I started REALLY thinking about it, the straight fact of disease, criminal charges, shame, risk of injury or death, and the social stigma would be plenty of reasons to just go out and get a second job instead.

Most prostitutes who try this same thing, just once or twice, often end up doing it for a very long time, some occasionally go in for rehab and get out of it, but it is a wicked snare that tends to suck you in.

Well, it's according to how big the debt is and how much I make in prostitution. If someone's going to pay me a half million for one night of passion...most definitely...just don't let the check bounce.

Selling human organs is legally indefensible, morally offensive, and socially unacceptable. How would selling or buying the whole human body be any better? Its akin to slavery. Yet when people seek out donors, we praise the 'sacrifice' made by the donor. Therefore, the repulsion appears to be attached to the fact of the money involved in the transaction, not the act of using the human body. Selling ones body to redeem a debt is unacceptable for that reason and I am happy to say I have never been forced by circumstances or otherwise to consider it.

Prostituting is illegal, and let alone that the reason is for debt. Most of the time they will wonder how you manage to get the money. When the find out that you broke the law, there are consiquences...even if its only once.

NO. There are right and wrong ways of doing things--- and that's the wrong way. How would you feel if your mom told you she did that so she could pay off some debts? Mom, dad, brother, sister...whoever. What would you think? If others found out, co workers, etc, what would they think? What would God think?

there was once this closet case macho guy who hung out at a bar i went to.
he said i had the history of being a male prostitute.
i took him aside and told him 500 bucks was my going rate.
he hated me for doing that and never let me forget it.
months later i saw him at a pub with his boyfriend.
had to end up telling him that talking to me was a waste of his time.
probably still hates me.
he's a hypocrite.
