can anyone tell me about the stages of protein synthethis ??

Also what are some methods used to sequence a genetic code/protein??

There is transcription and then translation

Okay - so you have the nucleus with its DNA and inside the nucleus the DNA undergoes repair and eventually copies itself before cell splitting etc.

To make a protein - first the RNA copy needs to be made. Have a look at the wiki page on TRANSCRIPTION

Then the mRNA goes out into the cytoplasm where it gets turned into a protein with the help of ribosomes. This process is called TRANSLATION.

To sequence a protein is different from sequencing a bit of DNA.

There are a number of complicated steps involved in discovering the ordered sequence of the amino acids in a protein. The usual way is called the Edman Degradation.

To sequence DNA - the currently used technique is Sanger's Chain Termination method. See the wiki pages below.
