I have a question about sleep. Basically, it seems that for my body, when I stay awake till 3AM or so, I wake up the next morning and feel loopy and not really awake for several hours later. However, when I go to sleep around 12:30 or so, I wake up and feel rested. In both cases, I get the same amount of actual sleep hours. Does the time of night I am going to bed having an impact on me feeling tired? If so - please explain (and if possible provide sources/articles.) Thanks a bunch! :)

Yes. It has something to do with the rotation of the earth. If you go to sleep around 9-12 your body will naturally heal itself better.

I have heard that every hour before midnight is worth an hour and a half's sleep afte midnight. I don't know if it's true, but I feel better for going to bed at 10 instead of 12 and I find it easier to get up after 8 hours when I do that. if I go to bed at 12 and I really struggle to get up at 8am. But when I go to bed at 10 I bounce out of bed at 6am, its strange, but it's ture.
