There are all sorts of reasons why your period have returned so soon but the main one would be a raise in your hormone levels. If bub has sleep through for more than 8 hours or if you are comping with a bottle this will do it. It will make no difference to you milk though & you can still continue to breastfeed. Your milk will be no different the only thing to look out for is your hydration & nutrition. that is make sure you drink well when you have a cycle & have a good diet of fresh fruit vegetables, milk & meat & wholegrain breads. Also watch for bubs hydration to make sure that he is getting enough breastmilk, you should be having 8 to 10 wet nappies per 24 hours & bub should be doing poos like the color of mustard & clean smelling. Bub will not need any compliments or solids until 6 months, don't be tempted to give them any younger as this only leads to allergy's.

Yes. Contrary to common belief one has nothing to do with the other. Nursing MAY cause your period to return later but there is no guarantee. And you CAN get pregnant while breastfeeding.
No worries about the taste. What you eat is of more effect and will even help your baby to get used to the solid food taste he/she will eat when he/she is a lot bigger.
If you preserve breast milk you may want to skip that when you have your period. Chances are it will go bad in no time... just one of those things. The quality of the milk however is good for 'immediate use' so to speak.

Of course you can! The only instance I know of milk changin taste and the baby weaning itself is when my sister fell pregnant whilst breastfeeding. Her son weaned when she was about 6 weeks which is how she found out she was pregnant. My period returned with all 3 of my babies while breastfeeding and I continued to do it for months after! Good luck.

Absolutely!!! my period returned at 9 weeks!! and she is now 5 months .There is no problem at all. There is no reduction in goodness or taste. If he weens off the breast it will not be because your cycle has returned. Everyones body is different and it is normal to return that early or even as late as 18 months.

It is a little unusual for your period to return so soon if you are feeding your baby full time.
I don't think you will have any problem with your milk or feeding your baby as long as you keep yourself healthy.
I have known family and friends who have feed their babies for 12 months or more after their period returned.
I, myself fed my last daughter until she was 10 months old, the last 4 months of which I had my period.
Make sure you eat lots of fruit and veggies, lean meat and drink lots of water (water makes milk) do some light exercise to keep your energies up and you will be fine.
Good luck

Yes you can, No he won't & it depends on the child
I couldn't breast feed but all those who could have breast feed until the child was 2. What you will find is that people will tell you can't get pregant whilst breastfeeding ( which is a load of tripe, as yu can!) And breastfeeding doesn't stop your periods, lightens yes, stop no.
Keep going until you & your baby want to give breastfeeding up

Of course you can still breast feed your baby even though your cycle has returned. It's not unusual for your cycle to return this early - it varies from woman to woman.
The longer you breastfeed the healthier it is for baby.

You can definitely continue to nurse your baby. My periods returned at 7 months postpartum and my 14 month old son is still nursing.

Well let me tell you; they do not know what they are talking about.
I breast feed TWINS!!! And they did not wean themselves after my period returned. My daughter is breast feeding her third baby. Her second baby she nursed until after her first birthday. No problems what so ever.
Breast feeding does not necessarily keep you from your periods restarting. Le Leche League has book about breast feeding. Please look for it and become educated about nursing your baby.
