Filipinos should be called Filipinos. What else or how else should we (Filipinos) be referred to?
and Filipino is a nationality, it's not an ethnic group.

The notion of a language of people that has interacted with the world at large that does not use classifications into ethnic groups is really far out, as in not likely. Furthermore, why would anyone not want to use such words, considering how tremendously useful they are. I think that you have not really thought this through. Would you get rid of all words in language that could even theorectically be used in a way that you do not like? Do you think that you are god now?

It is only natural to group living things into categories for identification and sorting purposes.
Everyone can then be sorted down to the individual that they are.
The groupings help define who they are through ever diminishing categories.
Just like we like to differentiate between plants and animals, using kingdom, phylum. class, order, genus, species, variety, etc.

We as humans classifying everything. In order for the world to make sense to us we fit everything in to our own classification system.
Obviously there are distinct physical traits that vary between us and it only natural that we pin a name to them. However, I think we should lose the term 'race' as it can imply that certain varieties of human beings belong to biologically significant subcategories.

wellone to claasify like they said but it is also a way to separate yourselves from others why u think White ppl call black N****s in slavery days just to compliment them... no to seperate black away from white.. And why Blacks call them selves N***as to distringish themselves from others everyone does though and it prolly will be more in the future it can be use to degrade or to compliment however u use them
