I've had nothing but headaches since using my Zen on a Vista PC. Media Explorer won't close & I have to go to the task manager to end the process. Two instances of the player show up when I plug it in. Safely remove hardware shows up in the tray even after I disconnect the darned thing. I've been looking for a fix on the Creative forums but nothing yet. Anyone else having problems since using Vista?

Found a partial fix on the Creative website! An update for Vista buggy behaviour. The download is ZNVM_PCApp32_LA_6_21_08.exe & it fixes the Media Explorer program from refusing to close. I still have it showing up connected when it's not though. Oh well, it's a start.

Not sure if this helps at all but yes. I hate Vista. I just recently bought a laptop that came with Windows Vista on it and there is absolutely NOTHING compatable with it. I cant even download a game on this thing. My internet isnt even compatable!! So yea in short i too have problems with Vista.

I've had no problems... but I didn't install the creative software. I just took advantage of Plug n Play. Uninstall all creative software and just add songs through My Computer/Media player. Vista sucks, doesn't it :(
