i read your question word to word and only step number 7 is incorrect.
after you confirm your back with paypal using those two deposit paypal will make in your account...you are pretty much all set...
then u go on ebay....win an auction (make sure the seller accept paypal) and pay by clicking on the paypal link....which will automatically take you to the paypal website where u would log in and pay. u wont have to transfer any fund from your bank to paypal. it will be all done by paypal (they will take the money out of your bank and pay the seller)....but just make sure your bank account has sufficient funds to pay for the item. after you pay on paypal...sign out and open a new window and go on ebay....u will be still logged in on ebay.....log out and wait for item.
additional helpful comment.
u don't have to open a paypal account using your bank account....u can do it just by using your debit card......in my perspective just giving them your debit card and not access to your entire bank account would be much safer....if you plan to sell anything on ebay then u will need to have the bank account on paypal and not just your bank debit card.......if you use only your debit card and not bank account then paypal puts "not verified" next to your name.....just their way to discourage u from using only your debit card. debit card account works just like bank account and you pay/buy the same way without giving them the right to your bank account.
even though i use paypal (only debit) its not entirely safe......be cautious and i would higly recommend that u don't give them your entire bank account....just open a paypal account using your debit card.

You do not need to have a balance in your paypal account. When you win an eBay auction just go to your paypal account through the Pay Now link on eBay. It will take you to a page where you can enter your PayPal password and the page that comes up already has all the needed information entered and you just need to click on the pay button. It really is very simple. They will withdraw the amount of the auction from your account and send it to the seller.

I even send my kids money using PayPal...

There are no fees associated with sending money. However if you start to use the account to recieve money and a credit card is used by the sender you will need to upgrade the account and a small fee will be charged to Recieve money. But none to send money....

Anyone considering the use of Paypal should be advised:

Ebay owns Paypal.
Paypal is not considered a bank by Federal Banking Regulations. Therefore, if you have a dispute with Paypal you have no recourse. If they freeze your account or even take all the money in it arbitrarily, you cannot sue to recover it.

Google class action suit Paypal.

Unless PayPal has changed their policy, you are right on all accounts. If you don't want to transfer cash into your new PayPal account, you can authorize PayPal to charge a Credit Card or Debit your linked bank account. However, there may be a fee associated with this.

Amazon is extra like an cyber web mall with many companies. eBay is an cyber web auctionhouse with many person sellers hence, Amazon and it incredibly is friends do no longer would desire to hotel to Paypal because of the fact their business enterprise operations are in all danger plenty extra advantageous than the guy sellers of eBay. the only purpose of turning right into a member of Amazon is which you would be able to shop your record of favorites.
