You can use UFO's for alot of things, sending probes to multiple planets, environmental research, planetary defense, quick and automated construction and mining/machining, let's make these suckers build homes and buildings, perform high speed search and rescue operations, forget police helicopters, use UFO's during car chases and let them
disable vehicles and stun people to capture the bad guys. See how fast these suckers move? There wouldn't be a police chase. Crime would drop if they thought a highly automated machine UFO armed with a really big stun gun might zap em if they tried anything. Just imagine if someone tried to rob a store and a really big mothership was overhead and was capable of staying and waiting there forever, and if a UFO can pickup cows and other things it could pickup someone fleeing from a vehicle or anything else. Or possibly stop a war.

So what would you do with one if you had one and how would you use it?

I would use it to unite all the governments and political idealists in the world against a common enemy. It is observed that in a presence of greater adversary who imposes a greater fear on people, enemies unite.

Your question makes me think of what an aircraft carrier would have seemed like in the days of wooden sailing ships...

I happen to believe that the US and other gov'ts are convinced that UFOs are destabilizing, which is why they won't admit that they exist... --Makes me think of when Chairman-For-Life of the FBI J. Edgar Hoover always denied the existence of the Mafia!

That is not to say that UFOs are in fact destabilizing...
One thing's certain: Whoever gets the technology first will have enormous power...
Most likely, new energy delivery systems, most likely incredibly powerful weapons, genetic engineering... There's no telling what kind of information a craft like that would possess. The point is that the knowledge contained would somehow have to be shared with the entire world... If we could handle it...

My feeling is that the best way to absorb that kind of knowledge would be if the aliens negotiated with the earth, through an international organization like the UN to establish the proper safeguards to prevent disaster...

I happen to believe that people of the earth are essentially sane... That's to say that people want our green mother earth and all its people to survive... By that I mean, I have faith that we could handle the power that this kind of development could bring. However, again, dispensing this kind of information would have to be done most carefully, as some on this planet behave more sanely than others...

Kurt, your scenario for the practical application of UFO technology is quite interesting. Indeed the sky or rather the "space" would be unlimited for this advanced hardware. However, there would be drawbacks to this, insofar, if we have it, then in all likelyhood every nation state would have the same capability. This technology could lead to abuse if it is put in the wrong hands. A good example of this is the proliferation of nuclear technology. Even as I write this, we as a species have been unable to conduct ourselves in a meaningful and peaceful way with nuclear power. We only have to look at history to find examples concerning the abuses of nuclear energy such as; depleted uranium in war zones around the world; suitcase nukes deployed and ready for activation in countries of non-compliance; and the inability to guarantee safe disposal of nuclear waste. What would happen if another genie was let out of the bottle such as gravitic technology without understanding the consequences that could lead to complete annihilation in the wrong hands? I shudder at the possibilities for misuse. Like all things that have been discovered in the past regarding revolutionary technology, which is neither good nor bad, it is what we do with it for the betterment of humankind that counts. Unfortunately, we have proven in the past that we have a ways to go in our spiritual development before such technology can be let out of the bottle. In closing, I would like to point out that we do indeed have our own gravitic technology. Mark McCandlish an accomplished aerospace illustrator having worked for some top aerospace corporations was privy to information concerning ARV's (Alien Reproduction Vehicles) at Norton Air Force Base. In other words, we have our own disc technology that is being kept under wraps in our "Black Programs." You can read all about this in Steven Greer's book "Disclosure." Conservatively, over 100 people in the defense industry have come forward to state the facts of what I've given above. Get the book and read it cover to cover. The evidence is compelling regarding our Unacknowledge Special Access Programs,...ie, UFO's!

To answer the question what would I do if I had this technology and knew that the genie could not be stuffed back into the bottle. Simple. Land it on the White House Lawn!

First I would find out what it was.
Until then you couldn't make any plans about it.
It might be worthless or it could be worth a lot.
We'll just have to wait and see.

UFO stands for "Unidentified Flying Objects". If I Had one, I'd identify it myself.
