Yes you can! Go to Preferences on Windows Media Player and set it to convert every song it plays to 'mp3' format. You can do the same using iTunes preferences, but that's just an option for other tasks. I play songs I buy off iTunes all the time on W Media Player and visa versa because I have them both set for 'mp3' as the default copy format. Good luck, be patient, it's rather easy if you don't overthink it too much ;-)

I've had the same problem and so far I'm not exactly sure. iTunes has alot of license crap. If you have it on CD's, you have to re-upload it onto ITunes. If not, you're prolly going to have to purchase them. Thats why I hate iPods! Any other MP3 player doesn't have that prob You could prolly get a file converter though At a last resort, find the file, it should say something like (name of song).mp3 or .wm_(something). you change it to an .mp4a which should convert to an Itunes file.

unfortunatly for you apple itunes has its own format to prevent this. you can however dub the song if you have audio recording software and save it as an MP3.
