I have always heard that left handed people have a harder time learning fast typing and I think it's true because it seems like no matter what I can't get better - do you think this it true, have you heard this?

I do self-preservation typing (I had to learn when the budget cuts happened and the administrative personnel got cut). That means that in reality I only type about 40-60 words a minute (depends on how technical my report is ... ). No matter what, it is still a struggle to type ... and I always seem to reverse order the entire keyboard (which was designed more for someone who is NOT left-handed).

Same for my Handwriting -- painful and slow. That is why I will use a recorder when necessary. I just can't write fast enough for most situations.
