Your best bet is to go through a website such as http://www.armynavy.com/. Otherwise I would go to your local recruiters office and they could tell you where to get tags locally.

Funny thing is Wal-Mart actually has a kiosk that sales dog tags. I think they are for animals, but you can always make one and just put them on that longer chain. If your Wal-Mart doesn't have one, go find a local Army and Navy surplus store.

They're supposed to be worn in 2 places; around the neck and in the bootlaces. Or you can be like me and loose them within 6 months of leaving bootcamp. If you join the military, you get your very own set.

sorry, i`m not in ohio, but u can buy them off ebay & they will engrave them with whatever u want...
