What do you do when your boss does not reply to your emails?

It is really frustrating!

give him some laxative chocolate wrapped up in cadburys paper....take the original wrapping off first of course

If your boss is in the same building, cut through the red tape and go to talk to your boss in person. Be polite and patient, he or she may be to busy to read the emails. Electronic emails will never replace the human contact.

Call them on the telephone. Walk to their office. Always follow through.

Do not assume there is a problem. Your boss gets emails from more people than just you, includng his boss.

I ask them why they are not answering my emails. There probably is a reason for it. Maybe their email is messed up. Maybe they are really busy. Maybe they have another preferred way of communicating. You never know until you ask.

Sounds like he/she may not be the (impersonal) e-mail type. You should talk to the boss face to face.

Well, it all depends how big is your company, if its small, he may be avoiding your concern.......I'll try one more time saying, I'll like to talk about this subject in your office at certain time if you do not reply it means you agree to it, unless you want to respond by answering my e-mail

Talk to him/her... I mean in a nice way... Don't be so hard on him/her. He may be busy with other work or the e-mails don't reach him at all.

Make sure you are still on the payroll, if not, don't worry about it.

why not just talk to him/her face to face....I'm assuming you're an adult...why e-mail if you're in the same company ???
