I know its still a long ways away but I wonder would this shooting have an impact on the summer Olympics in China in 2008...possibly a different view of the Chinese people now? (For your info..the shooter is believed to be Chinese/Chinese American).

No,the story will be long gone by then.It will be hot news for the next week or two, but then something bigger or earth shattering happens and the media moves on.
It is interesting though that the guy is believed to be Chinese.I mean how many times do you hear anything about
the Chinese people in this country committing any crimes especially like this.

Im sure everybody worries. World events such as the Olympics have been around for many years and have a different security protocol than a regular college on an ordinary day.
