You don't negotiate in a new relationship. Its too soon. On your own you look have to set your own guidelines and be looking for that in a relationship and little by little you learn more about this person and when things are more serious for a real solid relationship then you can begin to ask for negociaitons. And I would say the most difficult thing to negotiate is in-laws, money, commitment.

Trust. You can't trust a *partner* if you've only known them for two weeks.

You can't negotiate ANYTHING in a *new* relationship because you don't know them very well. At that stage you're just having fun, you shouldn't be negotiating anything in a NEW relationship.

"negotiate" Well if you are getting into a new relationship. i would suggest that you not talk much about your ex, that you let each other know as much about what you expect in a relationship, as you can, and don't rush into anything, especially if your last relationship was not good.

The regular terms I guess, open or closed, frequency of sex, frequency of dates(make sure to set this one so you don't stagnate). There's a lot of annoying tiny stuff, laundry day etc if you move in together.

Whether or not to talk during dinner, movies, walks, etc. It's difficult because you don't know whether or not to talk in the first place.

Where your friends and family come in to your life.

Example: Hanging out with your friends every single day or every date night is BAD! Alone time, good!

Telling your friends and family EVERYTHING....BAD!

Stuff like that.
