A slight chance, if you did get aproved for a new car chances are you will have a high interest rate. Believe it or not its better to have bad credit than have no credit at all because they can atleast pull up some kind of credit history and see were you stand and they can make a desicion from there were as having no credit at all they have nothing to go by.

Yes there are lots of companies that would love to help you finance a new car even with no money down , as long as you have a job ..
They charge outrageous interest charges and if you miss a payment they repo your car and sell it at auction to the highest bidder , and you end up paying the balance anyway including towing charges default charges and other fee's ..
Baby the car you have now , work on getting your credit fixed even if you have to seek advice from a credit counselor ..
I know with 4 kids to look after its rough .. but like I said you pay top interest charges and if you miss a payment you rate could go up even further and not just that .. .. these people prey on the poor . and they don't care about you one bit

You CAN get a decent car loan, even with bad or no credit. I've done it, but you'll have to look around. Shop around with lenders who specialize in bad credit car loans.

There are usually some nationally based car loan companies who specialize in bad and no credit car loans who advertise on the page linked below...

Check your local tow companies, some times they have good cars for sale. They sell cars that have been impounded and not picked up. My brother got a 93 Taurus for $800 and it runs great, all it needed was new spark plugs. Check every day because they go fast, take a cell phone with you and try to check them out with the DMV if you can.
Good luck.

Honestly, the best thing would be to pay cash. By new car, I take it you mean a different car? All you really need is dependable transportation so have the car checked out by a good mechanic before you would buy it.

YES. Since you have these issues you must think if you can keep the car. Will you be able to pay for insurance to. Is the interest rate worth it. "Let's Make A Deal."--show.
