Germany in the 1930's was motivated my national racism and propaganda. If you believe this current administration is fascist and has plans to destroy Congress, then you bet America is like Germany in the 30's.
Terrorism? They didn't have that back then. They had the Communists at the right to keep them in check.
Military? What kind of army do we have nowadays? Weak, ill-equipped, and unprepared. Hitler would have gasped.
Nationalism? I don't see something that everyone is rallying up too. Our nation is too split to focus on a single agenda.
Antisemitism? You be the judge. Just tell me when we have a Kristallnacht. And the Enabling Act, erm, I don't think so.
Students Killing Students? Well we have bombs blasting off in Iraq killing 40+ every month, but no one gives a damn. Maybe that's something that's like the past.

No. Germany wanted to take over the world. The US takes over a country and gives it back to its people.
The Middle East is a tinderbox and has been for the last 40 years. It is a general belief that if WW3 does happen, it will start in the Middle East. The most common theory is that a rogue regime will build nuclear weapons and start launching them. Sounds a little like Iran.

"We are sadly more and more like Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia everyday."
I am not sure how you conclude that. We are not trying to exterminate a whole race or conquer the globe. Yes, the USA has "interests" in several other countries, however, it would be a lot worse if we turned to isolationism like back during pre-WWII. We give so much to the world that the good far outweighs the bad. Think about it.

We are not invading countries and taking them over like Germany did. We are not making their people into slave laborers, like Germany did. We are not killing 15 million people as part of a racial cleansing and final solution, like
Germany did. Saddam invaded Kuwait like Germany did to its neighbors but we kicked his a** out. If Europe did this when Germany invaded its first country perhaps 25 million people wouldn't have died. What do I say? Invade the middle east take over the oil, hunt down and execute anyone who is a terrorist and their supporters and the hell to what the rest of the world thinks. Just like Germany and Europe. WW 3? No way. Plant some nukes in the oil fields with the notice if anyone attacks the US we set them off. Radioactive oil is useless and the world needs oil, know what I mean.

it begins when complicated issues get simplified
then one group gets all the blame
its much like drug use is all upon drug users [they are symptomatic , not the cause of the problem]
this is much like germany
they blamed the jews
we blame muslims
we blammed the drug user , not the abusers who led people to drugs
now we say [wrongly ] muslims its a problem of helplessness , desperation that sees no way out
its a failure in governance , diplomicy , the elites treating every one else with the big stick [and all the blame]
this killing of students is symptomatic of the presures we put on people who may be sen as different ,
but what is the real probvlem is the culture of guns that kill 20 thousand americans every year[nuts with guns]

Many things could spark a big war, nobody can say exactly what and when, let's hope it does not happen. Water shortages, oil shortages, the Middle East, religious feelings, are just four possiblities. But look at the world at the moment, there are several nasty wars going on at the moment, any of which could escalate. Indeed any part of the world might be invaded, including the USA. Indeed the USA was invaded in a way on 9/11.
