If you're overqualified, get a new job that you think fits your qualifications. Can't get that type of job? Then you're NOT AS OVERQUALIFIED AS YOUR EGO SAYS YOU ARE!!!
Quit blaming your boredom on a non-existent failure of the entire human population.

Yes... consciousness makes you feel 'alive'... I've always been like that, or at least try to be as 'live' as possible, even though nowadays that has decreased a bit because of some personal issues I need to take care of (but just can't, which makes me feel even more 'dead' (as opposed to conscious/live))... then again there are some moments in which consciousness seems to mysteriously skyrocket... which is extremely nervous for a life that's lived... I would feel like I am connected throughout all my body (since most of the times and in general we don't really have conscious control over ourselves... just that subconscious layer of a 'hold' which, if broken, could render us hopeless as to how to control situations (in cases like a person with cancer etc.)... and when that sudden increase in this 'consciousness' occurs I feel actually disgusted because I can 'feel' the brain, for example... like, have a more personal 'touch' of the blood flowing through it etc... it's rather unsettling... I usually just go rest in my bed or something even though I continue 'feeling' such things... then after a while, or a sleep, it's completely gone... although it can render me incapable of doing things, it's not that easy to overcome, once I was watching Digimon, an anime, and I was like automatically thinking by myself how the characters in the cartoons are using their brains... how they are reacting to certain situations and dangers and calls from others and how they express their feelings... then I suddenly began 'feeling' the brain itself (mine) and I just had to stop mainly because I couldn't concentrate at all on the movie and I was even beginning to get 'afraid' (because I keep wondering why we have so much 'nonsense' and 'disgusting'/fallible organs etc. inside us...).

You say you find every moment extraordinary, yet you say you are bored easily. You also use the term "cursed with too much awareness". Overqualified? underappreciated? Since you have such great awareness I presume you will understand what the term "bloated ego" means.

Every conscious moment is each second of the time of that when you inhale breath and feel appreciate for what you have and dont have.
Too much awareness wont diminish your conscious moment. Every conscious moment is not gifted with awareness.
You claimed that you get bored easily, with a yes for your question? If every conscious moment is extraordinary for you , you wont feel bored unless boredom is extraordinary for you?@%@#

i also have the curse. mine started about a year and a half ago. fitting in is not an option for me. if you follow every extraordinary occurrence, i would hope that it would lead you to where you are supposed to be. it's when I have to ignore the feeling that I feel bored.

Go to a hypnotist who will explore your sub-conscious and find out the reasons for the extra awareness. If you come to know the reasons, you can find out the remedy also.
