Yes. Most bands get inspiration from bands they like. So I know if I like their music, I will probably like the music of a band that inspired them.

I've done that in the past but still I'm real stuck on music before 75, except of course The Ramones.

yes but sometimes its dissapointing so not so much anymore just because they like them dosnt mean they have been influenced by them so theres a chance they are completly different from that genre of music the band you like is in and then its a waste of time

Interestingly enough, my Sister-in-law has turned me on to a LOT of new music.

She is always on the cusp of some sweet stuff. I follow her lead, because she takes it seriously. When she recommends something, it's ACTUALLY something good!
