i usually play a joke like say im the owner of a resturant or this is pizza hut can i take your order or i just tell them to hold on and just leave them holding till they get tired...

I either leave it to go to voice mail or I just say I am too busy and hang up.

I ask for their home phone number so I can call them while they are eating supper on a Sunday night. Why do they always call at 9pm? Jerks!

if they be like is your parents there i say no they died 2 years ago and you people keep calling me making me think of memories you make my life miserable... they never call back
&& no my parnets anit dead!
or sometimes i hang up on them!

I tell them I am on the national 'do not call' list and if they call me again I'll sue. They NEVER call back.

i just set the phone down and finish eating..... if they're still there when i pick up later, i ask for their home phone to call them back.....
