Please take the time to investigate this for yourselves!
I have provided some links that I have recently come across about this subject.

I think that scientists should all be on this!
Could history be trying to tell us something?

I've been checking into this. The earth's poles shift like clock work every 180,000 years or something. The Mayans talk about some kind of event in their scrolls and their long count calendar ends on Dec 21, 2012.

We are basically exiting the era of Pisces and entering the Age of Aquarius. The Sun will reach it's Solstice and our Solar System will line up and point directly at the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. The vibrations will continue to increase and the earth's poles are supposed to shift. NASA has also predicted the poles to shift on Dec 22, 2012.

There are basically 5 main theories predicting what is going to happen. Nasa's theory is the least harmful theory...they say the poles will flip in an instant and nobody will notice. The other theories paint a much different picture. Some say the earth will stop rotating and then start turning in the opposite direction. If that happens the earth's crust could break free from the magma, killing everything on the planet.

I question whether this event is having an impact on today's politics. It seems like some leaders are making very irrational decisions lately.

It seems like time is speeding up.....it's not. The earth's own vibrations are speeding up.

It might not be a bad idea to go underground in a couple years.

No.

There are many factors that influence the world, not just the Earth's poles. Solar flares, human hormones, and the brevity of life all contribute toward chaos. None of those things are sue to the shifting of the Earth's poles.

Scientists are well aware of the periods of warming and cooling that the Earth has gone through. And yes we could be entering a natural period of warming. However...the rate that the warming is occurring and the degree it is occurring at is soley due to the effects that the industrial revolution has had on the environment.
To not acknowledge the side effects of man on the environment is negligent.
Man has drastically changed the environment and we need to quit living in denial.

Even if (and this is just to be hypothetical) we are going through a "natural warming period" it still does not negate the fact that we are polluting our planet in many ways.
Why would we not want to remedy this?

You should take an astronomy class sometime, you might learn something about this matter. Man isn't as powerful as you would like to think.

I don't know how much credibilty i'm supposed to give some guy with a mullet doing an amateur slide show on the internet.

the problems the world is having is not because of the poles are shifting, but the end is coming. Now I am not standing on a street corner shouting "repent for the end is at hand", but you have to admit things are getting bad. We have hurricanes, earthquakes, and tsunami. sick men killing Amish girls, wackos shooting up malls and schools almost once a month now.men who blow up sub ways, churches, and fly planes into buildings. The news is filled with kidnappings, pedophiles, and woman cooking there children in the microwave. We have wars and genocide, disease, and killer mosquito's. No don't blame the earth.

well... it's possible...

guy starts off kind of interesting... then goes WAY out there...

but if it is the poles.... we could be in for a bit of a ride... and I have a feeling it won't be fun...

and we, of course, would have nothing to do with this...
