Juanes is amazing. He's has a rock pop vibe. Originally from Columbia and sings in Spanish.

Imogen Heap is breathtaking as well. She's from the UK, and sings in English.

patrick wolf from the UK will blow you away. just listen to: 'accident and emergency' and 'the magic position'

the next band that is verrry different is 'of montreal'.. i dont believe they are foreign but they are certainly eccentric and their album is one of the best of the year.

and while everyone is talking about japanese singers... why dont you listen to deerhoof.. seriously. the singer is asian... and they have one of the best albums also of 2007.

I agree. Juanes is amazing. You can try Japanese pop. Ayumi Hamasaki and my personal favourite Utada Hikaru

indochine is a great french rock band, they`re my absolute favorite!!! u can check out my youtube channel, i have loads of indochine vids...also check out basshunter, from sweden, he has more dance-type stuff...i have some of his stuff on my channel too...enjoy!!!:
