yes, you feel different because you are unique, just like everybody else.

When I first started school, I always played by myself without the rest of my peers, I have always felt different from rest and I don't really ever know why. I had many times where I enjoy being alone than with others, I don't necessarily feel disconnected since I'm more now content with my family than with the public world, I usually hate places that are crowded and love places that are empty. But I'm glad to read that someone else out there also feels "fundamentally" different than others, I sometimes thought I was the only one.

I used to feel a lot like that. I grew up as an only child with a mentally ill mom and a very quiet father. Later though I became close to my relatives/cousins and in jr. high and high school I became friends with two girls and we've always been very close. I learned not to assume that I know other people as well as I think I do. So far I've been learning that people have a lot more similairities than they realize. I think thats beautiful. I'm still learning.
And yes you are different, so am I , so is everyone else hopefully. Are uniqueness is what makes us a person, and our connections (even when they're hard to find) are remarkably amazing as well. That's why I love making friends with people who seem very different from me, cuz chances are I can learn so much from them, and enjoy the unexpected things we have in common.
But hopefully everyone is unique and special because life would be awfully boring if we weren't.

We are all different from each other, the way you feel depends a lot on the way your parents raised you, how intelligent you are, your personality, beliefs and many more things. I am sure other people feel like this, Iam a round peg that never fits into the square peg of society, it is good being different.

Although my opinion or my thought process is different from others, I don't feel I am fundamentally different from others. I think our common bond is Love. Everybody likes to be treated with love and respect. I strongly feel we all are connected by the invisible thread of love.

I sort of feel that way right now. Time and time again I see people make the same exact mistakes they make before. Simple mistakes even. My ex-girlfriend broke up with me and went for guys who obviously didn't love her or respect her the way I did, and for some reason she keeps going for those same types of guys. That's just one example of my observations. It gets sad knowing that the people that don't make those repetitive mistakes are unpopular and excluded.

I think a lot of people feel this way because when we observe other people we see the person that they want us to see not their actual being.
We all see ourselves without the mask and compare ourselves to the masks of everyone else.
