I just redid my kitchen floor. I used warm tiles heating coil under the ceramic flooring. OOOOOOOOOHHHHHH YEA. Makes you want to lay down next to the dog!!! Oh yea, I had bamboo flooring from menards, that's why I redid my kitchen.

If I were on a budget, I would go with laminates; it's easy to install, very durable and hard-wearing. Given the chance, though, I'd go with Strand Woven Bamboo. Aside from the fact that bamboo holds up extremely well to moisture, better than any other floor, the Strand Woven is 2x harder than regular bamboo. So it's 2 advantages in one floor. ;)

If you've never seen or heard of Strand Woven bamboo, I've pasted a link below to show you a sample. The site also has really competitive laminate selections, should you decide to with that instead. :)
