I Litre = 4 Cups = 32"Fluid Ounces" .
They don't teach that at School anymore, do They?

My rule of thumb is that 2 liters (there are two spellings of liter, the one you used is the British or European one) is approx. 2 quarts. A typical 2-liter bottle of soda contains 67.6 fluid ounces, so one liter is 33.8 oz.
