A warm bubble bath with some candles and the lights off.
If something is bothering me, I'll take 10 minutes to write about it: What happened, how I reacted, how I could of reacted, and how I'm feeling afterwords.
Before I go to bed, I have a routine. I start by going over the days event in my head, the good parts, and the bad parts. Sometimes I have a cup of chamomile tea. Then I write down the things I need to do the next day. Next, I rub my feet and legs with lavender lotion. Then I tell my body to relax. I start with my head, and work my way down each part of my body, all the way to my toes. By the time I'm done, I feel really good and relaxed! It's a great stress reliever, and it helps me sleep better.

I like to exercise hard, then take a long shower. Follow that with some mellow music, a glass of red wine, and some dark chocolate. Concentrate on your breathing and feel the stress leave your body with every breath you exhale.
Or... have your favorite guy give you a foot massage.

For me I take paxil and xanax , but I would recommend something else if it's a temporary thing . You need a distraction that you would enjoy and that would help . Curl up on the couch with a wine cooler and watch a good comedy that may help .

Katharine Hepburn used to say that washing floors is the best therapy.
I'd rather take a walk in the woods.
Both options are not always readily available. Valium is portable.

Gun range and let loose for a few hours after a while the smell and teaist of the Cordite and noise is verry relaxing...
