I strongly disagree. There are people who are just evil, for example Adolf Hitler. Did the Jews hurt Adolf Hitler? Did they cheated him or what? No. Hitler just simply wanted to exterminate all the Jews. Radical muslims want to do the same thing today. These people are evil. There's no need for us to give them apologies. We didn't hurt them nor did the Jews hurt them. Muslims want to kill all nonmuslims. That's all.

So, I think, Islam is not a peaceful religion. And muslims who are peaceful are peaceful in spite of being a muslim, not because they are a muslim!

On the other hand, Christians who are peaceful are peaceful because they are really Christians. See 1 Corinthians 13. The ones who killed those who didn't convert to Christianity called themselves Christians, yet they weren't true Christians. Christians are not supposed to force other people to convert to Christianity. Jesus never said to any of his followers that they should force people to believe in Him neither did Jesus force anyone to believe in Him.

For example, see Matthew 10:13-14:
Jesus said, "If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet."

Jesus didn't say "kill all the unbelievers." Islam teaches that!

I just had to read the first sentence and it said it all. They are taught that their ways and their religion is the ONLY way and any not agreeing should be killed; that's where their wonderful Holy Jihad comes in. And the sad part is they really believe all that they do and say. Anyone who believes in a loving God, it is just that; loving. What loving God teaches you to kill and torture people? My daughter sent me a book from Iraq about their history and cultures, etc. I was totally shocked, when I read what their religious groups believe in. And all the auther did was blame everything on the Americans. He praised Saddam and said nothing negative at all about any of the people in that area; nothing was said about all of the destruction that he caused. And that's how it is with the Muslim's. They CHOSE to pick the temple mount, where they said mohammed ascended. There were a number of other places they could have chosen, so why that particular spot? Everyone wants the control and power. We need to study our Bible and history of all our cultures to better understand everything.

Haven't read it, but wonder about any religion that has a "holy war''....what a contradiction of terms. How about ''smite thine enemy''.....there are others too. Personally I don't go for any organized religion, the latest Catholic church payouts for rapacious priests is another goodie to think about. Best wishes.
