Lots of people have jumped 42 inches. Nate Robinson, currently on the Knicks, has a close to 50 inch vertical. Hell, Shawn Kemp in his prime had a 50 inch vertical. The record for the highest rim dunked on was 12 feet I think. Not sure about the actual highest vertical leap ever measured.

don't know but you can actually double you vertical leap , using Luke Lowrey a vertical leap expert guide , . http://www.theverticalproject.co.nr , this guy grantees you will double your vertical leap

nate robison the N.Y knicks player. he freakin' jumped 5'4'' from the ground. that means that the distance from his toes to the floor are 5'4'' wowowowow
