because shows like chapelles show talk about chicken and waffles, so do black stand up comedians. so pull the cork out of your a sses, because i didnt do anything but ask a question. I just want to know if there was a reason behind a certain race loving this stuff, like how all white people love manyaise

No. Not all black people like those things, but it sure is good material for comedians. Anyone remember the dave chapel episode where all blacks get reparations, and suddenly every store is out of fried chicken. Also who doesn't like those foods, have you ever been to a black bar-b-que and had some of those ribs - to die for!! Take care man and stop the generalizing its ridiculous.

I am not African American, and I love all those things. Maybe my parents aren't telling me something? Just kidding, just kidding. I have no idea, but I do know that you are majorly stereotyping. I think if you did more research, you would find that it is not only that particular race.

However, on the other hand, I might have a half-ok answer that might satisfy you. It could be that they simply have fond memories of these foods from when they were children (or even older) and have been passed down from generation to generation. I seriously doubt it's biological, but I guess it COULD be possible.

I'm not black and I love watermelon and ribs, and waffles and chicken. Sorry...I don't want to be mean but I was wondering....why would you do such a dumb question? I don't see racism on your question I just see ignorance in it.

maybe because it tastes good.comedians use it in their scripts because it's what white america identifies us with.the jokes that you think is really so funny is really about you.,and last i checked whities like all that stuff to.we just cook it better.f.y.i . watermelon isn't what africans eat.check your facts before you come on here sounding ignorant.loads of white people can be seen buying it in the summer.we've found better things to spend our money on.oh yeah, obviously you're not to bright in school either or you'd know food has nothing to do with genetics.***hole.

ninety 9.9% of responses ll say NO, yet placed it this way... once you're occupied with an acident, and it isn't your fault and there is gigantic damage on your vehicle, homestead, body, etc and the fellow at fault isn't of your race, etc, what's the first words that come out of your mouth or on your options / idea (s)...? also in the experience that your carried out actual damage by a collection except your own race, again...???? enable's all be straightforward, eh..? 'm useful we are going to all "enable fly" with decision words.. no human being is "letter suited and all loving"... Rachelle In severe Heels

I think it is interesting that nearly all your respondents (who to a man--or woman--insisted that it was an untrue statement) felt compelled to mention their own race. Since they mostly claim to be "white", I wonder if this outburst of political correctness is to protect those that they perceive as weaker and less able to fight their own battles than themselves? I heard a very wise woman (whose race is irrelevant) say that if you are a "something-American" you were seen as 1/2 an American and only given 1/2 the rights. She opined that she wanted to be merely an American as she wanted ALL her rights. When we are ALL able to ignore fools perhaps we will finally be on our way to being beyond racism.

If you have to start a question with "Im not being racist but...", then you are being racist.

You are lumping in an entire group of people without having any true statistics. How do you know that all black people love those things? Where is your data? TV sitcoms? Your whitebred friends that you hang around?
