I have a cannon mp360 3 in one and I need to get a black cartrige for it....its a number 40 by cannon...it says PG-40 Black fine cartridge...I was wondering if I had to get the cannon one or just another number 40 of any kind...

you need either the canon pg-40 or a canon-compatible pg-40. no other 40 will do the trick.
(you can get your canon pg-40 refilled, btw)

yes you need the cannon one unless it says on the box can be used with you printer. you see different company's make different size and shaped ink cartridges.

You need the exact cartridge. No others will fit.
