dammit i 4 got...should i just wait and report next year? i have an hour an twenty minutes...what should i do?

File an extension.
Form 4868 is an "Application for Automatic Extension of Time To File U.S. Individual Income Tax Return."
You'll have until October to file, but if you owe any taxes, pay ASAP, because there are still penalties and interest if you don't. (If you are due a refund, the IRS doesn't care if you wait to file.)

Sorry, but you can't wait until next year especially if you owe. If you have a refund coming there's no penalty for late filing aside from the fact that you won't get your refund until you actually file. The deadline is midnight Tuesday, so get cracking!

well..... yeah your pretty much screwed. Dont wait till next year or the IRS will come after you. Just see if you can get an extension and file late. Byt the way goodluck getting through to someone intelligent at the IRS.

The internal Revenue Service has a wonderful web site. You can also efile for free right there if you qualify. They have the lasted new. Or check with whoever did your taxes before, maybe they can help you with an extention.

You have one more day. But if you can't make it -- file an extension. If you don't and owe taxes the IRS will penalize you big time. If you file an extension, they'll just get you for the interest.
